Flashaid Secures $2.5 Million Funding to Accelerate Growth and Extend To New Cities
Flashaid, a healthcare and insurance tech firm, recently made headlines for raising $2.5 million through its pre-Series A round of funding, coordinated by Piper Serica Angel Fund and international venture capital firm SOSV; early stage investors such as Z21 Ventures Fund and ZNLGrowth Fund also participated.
The startup promises that the funds it has raised will be put toward expanding to six cities.

Flashaid was founded by Manoj Gupta and Gunjali Kothari as a healthcare and insurtech company that provides a full suite of health solutions, from pre-underwritten products with proprietary pricing to open APIs and embedded solutions. Partners with insurance firms to design custom solutions while working closely with online retail platforms and brands to offer these products to their customers.
Gunjali Kothari, Co-Founder of Flashaid noted an anticipated 30 percent growth of digital platforms by 2030 and its vast potential to integrate with existing ecosystems for sustainable solutions that improve equality in health care across India.
Flashaid, according to Kothari, is taking part in this technological revolution by employing its API-driven strategy which meets consumers’ changing demands in terms of purchasing and using medical services.

Abhay Agrawal, the Managing Director and founder of Piper SericaAngel Fund, noted the developments by saying.

Firm representatives announced they are designing an API-first health plan, to enhance affordability and accessibility of health insurance plans in digital India. Furthermore, the healthcare and insurance specialist company has devised an exclusive method for health insurance retail distribution using B2B2C platform.
Flashaid boasts of having established partnerships with more than 20 platforms to deliver over 30,000 health insurance plans in its inaugural year of operations, making the business profitable enough to reach EBITDA levels and achieve annual revenues of $1 Million, projected to expand rapidly into an expected annual run-rate of $10 Million in two years time.
